The beauty of Sea Pines on Hilton Head Island along with the sandy beaches and direct access to the Atlantic Ocean make the Marriott’s Monarch at Sea Pines a great option for guests who want a little more from their vacation. The Monarch at Sea Pines by Marriott occupies 6 full Oceanfront acres and showcases everything there is to love in the Hilton Head location. Large Oaks and Palm trees surround the property and the winding pathway leads you past the two (2) outdoor pools and down to the sand and beach.
Villas at the Monarch Sea Pines
Wonderful, spacious Two (2) Bedroom Villas offer the conveniences of home with a full Kitchen, Dining Room, and a large table for six. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower unit. The second bedroom comes with a pair of twin beds. Two bathrooms make for a more peaceful time when getting ready in the morning for your day ahead. A washer and dryer are included in each villa. Balconies with seating offer surprising views of the gardens, landscaping and there are even some with ocean views.

Pros:
Many of the reviews you will read are from renters and also owners who have bought into the Marriott Vacation Club Plan. Most of the guests really like the Marriott Monarch at Sea Pines even though it is one of the older properties on the island. The 2 Bedroom Villas are amazing with great space and having a kitchen makes the trip much more enjoyable. The balcony overlooking the gardens is beautiful but if you get an oceanfront view, it is even better. Beach towels are provided and chairs can be used on the beach as well. It was nice having bike rentals at the resort and not having to deal with an outside rental company. The pools are nice and the kids enjoyed the little splash park but being able to walk to the beach in a minute or two was just the best.
Cons:
It would be nice if there was a restaurant on the property but all things considered, having a kitchen was a plus. There are also many restaurants nearby and getting things delivered was not a problem. Since this is a Vacation Club Resort there are not a ton of activities going on as you will find at some of the larger resorts. This can also be a positive if you are just looking for some rest and relaxation and do not want all of the noise going on around you.

Fun Things to Do
Consideirng that you are staying at a resort in Hilton Head that is right on the Beach, you might spend a majority of your time on the sand or playing at the ocean. There are also two (2) pools and a small kiddie splash park at the Marriott Monarch at Sea Pines. On top of playing in the water, renting a bike from the resort and venturing through Sea Pines is a great activity for the family. Spend time together learning about all of the great places in Hilton Head.
Nearby, you can always rent a kayak and go out on the water on a tour and learn more about the aquatic animals and birds that call Hilton Head home. A dolphin tour is also a great option and the kids will love seeing these amazing creatures in the water.

Pets are not allowed at the Marriott Monarch in Hilton Head. Service animals are also welcome.

There are not any restaurants at the Monarch Resort. Grilling stations are provided on the grounds and you do have a full kitchen when staying in one of the two (2) Bedroom Villas. There are plenty of restaurants and dining options in Hilton Head. Be sure to check them all out.
