Begin a trip to remember while staying at the Marriott Grande Ocean Villas overlooking the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean in Hilton Head Island. Villas
The Grande Ocean by Marriott is a vacation ownership Resort and the two (2) bedroom villas give you all of the comforts of home. Watch the sun as it rises over the eastern shores, glistening across the waters each morning. If you booked a 2 Bedroom Villa with an Ocean View and you are on one of the upper floors, you can enjoy the view of the surf any time of the day.
Each Villa offers a full 1,380 square feet of space, has a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry area. The Master Bedroom has a King Bed and a separate bathroom. The second bedroom has two queen beds. The living room has a sleeper sofa and the balcony is perfect for having your coffee in the morning and watching the waves crash on the shore.

Pros:
A very high percentage of guests visiting the Marriott's Grande Ocean Vacation Club Resort really enjoyed their time. Having a large 2 Bedroom Villa with a full kitchen makes all the difference on a vacation. Guests who booked an ocean view unit highly recommend getting one to have a view of the beaches. Balconies are large enough for a table of 4 which was wonderful when eating outside. Be sure to rent e-bikes when you visit (this is mentioned time and time again). The pools are fantastic and having so many (3 outdoor pools, children's pool, indoor heated pool, and hot tubs) is a wonderful surprise. Having direct access to the beach makes for a very fun family experience.
Cons:
You will find a few negative reviews mixed in with the above-average reviews but there is not an overwhelming amount. Still, it is always a good idea to read the latest reviews on TripAdvisor before you book your trip. A few guests felt that the pools and play areas could be kept up a little better. Another guest mentioned that the beds were a little softer than they were used to.

Fun Things to Do at Marriott Grande Ocean Hotel Hilton Head Island
The fun never ends when you are at the Grande Ocean Vacation Club Marriott. Each morning is a start to a new adventure. Walk along the shores of the Atlantic just off of the pool deck and take in the wonderful beach for a great family day. The 3 outdoor pools, indoor heated pool, hot tubs, and a children’s pool are wonderful when you want some time in the water but don’t want to be on the beach.
One of the most fun things you can do in Hilton Head is to explore the island and the beach on a Bike. There are over 60 miles of bike trails and miles and miles of hard-packed sand beaches. Bike rentals are available near the pool area.
Tennis is available across the street with 4 tennis courts and can be a fun experience. Golf is one of the main attractions on Hilton Head Island. A Bocce Ball court is on the resort grounds and a couple of shuffleboard courts are fun to play on as well.
Pets
Pets are not allowed at the Marriott’s Grande Ocean Resort but service animals are welcome.
Resort Fees
You will not have Resort fees added to your daily reservation.
Parking
Self-Parking is included stay but there is no valet parking.
Fitness Center
A nice fitness center awaits your arrival to get your daily workout routine behind you so you can go out and tackle the day ahead.
Spa Treatments
There is no Spa at the Grande Ocean Marriott.
Dining
Lunch is available at the Dolphin Grill but most of your dining will be done in your own private kitchen or at any of the wonderful restaurants on Hilton Head Island.
