Hilton Head Blue Water Resort Pool
Families love all of the fun things to do on Hilton Head Island. Kids will thoroughly enjoy having the Hilton Head Blue Water Resort Pool to splash and play in. Not only do you have a regular outdoor pool but the Bluewater Resort in Hilton Head also has a zero-entry pool with a lazy river. There are not many Hilton Head Lazy River Hotels, so the Bluewater Resort really stands out by having this extra water fun feature. Just outside of the entrance to the lazy river is a small splash pad with bubbling fountains for the younger ones to play in. Each of the pools has a hot tub for the adults to relax after a long day of playing.
Indoor Pool
No matter what time of year you visit, or what the weather is like, the Indoor Pool is always a great option at the Hilton Head Bluewater Resort. While it is always nice to be outside when the weather is warm, having an indoor pool has its advantages. Days when a storm is blowing through, or the evenings are getting cool, head to the indoor pool for some water enjoyment.
Pool Information at The Bluewater Resort in Hilton Head:
- Indoor Pool Hours: Daily 9 AM – 9 PM
- Outdoor Pool Hours: Daily 9 AM – 10 PM

- Lazy River: A Lazy River is connected to the main outdoor pool and offers hours of floating enjoyment
- Kids Splash Pad: Located beside the Lazy River Pool is a small splash pad for the kids. Bubbling fountains offer enjoyment for the little ones and keeps them cool and safe while you watch them play.
- Zero-entry: Zero-entry access is available at the main pool with the lazy river
- Hot Tubs: You will find a hot tub at each of the outdoor pools and the indoor pool
- Towels: Pool Towels are provided in each of the Villas
- Cabanas: Cabana Rentals are NOT available

Outdoor Pool with Lazy River
Join in the fun with the large outdoor pool at the Bluewater Resort in Hilton Head. Sit by the water and soak in the South Carolina sun while the kids are off playing. Feel a sense of calm as their little ones play in the shallow, zero-entry location. The entire family can relax while floating around the lazy river.
Additional Outdoor Pool
On the opposite side of the Bluewater Resort you will also find the Indoor Pool and another smaller outdoor pool. The indoor pool is a great place to hang out when the conditions outside do not permit you to enjoy the outdoor pool and lazy river. Designed for relaxation and family enjoyment, this pool is a great place to splash and play year-round.
Indoor Pool
Its curved shape and shallow depth make it perfect for kids and adults. The indoor pool has plenty of seating and creates a wonderful place to relax and read a book while the kids are having fun in the water. The wooden ceiling and floor to ceiling windows provide a large amount of natural light to flow in, offering a calm and relaxing space. The indoor pool has metal handrails and steps that lead into the 3-foot depth providing easier access for guests of all ages and abilities. There is no zero-entry access, so be sure to stay with your younger children while they are playing in the water.
- Pool Design: The Indoor Pool has a Rounded edge and a shallow depth of 3 feet. This is a great space for families when the weather does not permit being outside or if you would like to get out of the South Carolina Sun.
- Seating: Plenty of comfortable lounge chairs and a few tables surround the indoor pool for relaxation.
- Hot Tub: A hot tub is also available in this indoor pool building giving you the opportunity of sitting in the hot bubbles and letting your cares melt away.
- Atmosphere: Warm and bright, with a wooden ceiling and plenty of natural light.
- Accessibility: Equipped with handrails and steps for easy entry, accommodating all guests.
Hot Tubs
You will find a hot tub at each one of the outdoor pools and also one available at the indoor pool. Hot tubs are for the adults to enjoy while kids are playing in the pool areas.
