Bluewater Resort Hilton Head

Nestled into the banks of the Intercoastal waterways that flow between Hilton Head Island and Pickney Island, the Bluewater Resort Hilton Head offers amazing sunsets and water views. Kayaking from the private dock at the Spinnaker Bluewater Resort gets you out on the water to watch for dolphins as they swim the channel. This is a great place for fishing and boating with small craft. Relax around the two (2) pools, one having a lazy river for added fun floating around. There is something for all ages at the Hilton Head Bluewater Resort.

 PROS

Pros:
Many of the guests visiting the Bluewater Hilton Head Resort are pleased with the overall feel, location, and fun things to do. Having a marina attached to the Resort is nice to go fishing, kayaking, or just watching the sun go down each evening. The sky is just beautiful each and every night. Villas are so much nicer than staying in a hotel room. A full-size kitchen and laundry add to the convenience and helps cut down on the overall cost of any vacation. The pools are very nice and the lazy river adds to the fun. Little ones will enjoy the splash pad and zero-entry makes it much safer to get in and out of the main pool. The weather was a little less than cooperative one day so the indoor heated pool was a great option.

 CONS

Cons:
The vast majority of the reviews are very good at the Bluewater Resort in Hilton Head but there are a few complaints and negative reviews. A couple of guests enjoyed the location for the sunsets but realized that many of the activities on Hilton Head Island are not close to this resort. Bike riding is fun but getting to the beach is a long trek. Be aware that this is a timeshare resort and you will likely be approached to attend one of the timeshare viewings. You might get something for free but it will take a lot more time than you will expect and might not be worth it unless you are really interested in buying in.

Fun Things to Do at Spinnaker’s Bluewater Hilton Head Island Resort

Having a marina attached to the Bluewater Resort truly adds to the fun experience you will have. Renting kayaks and pushing away from the dock offers a wonderful time while paddling along Skull Creek looking for wildlife and dolphin. The pier is a great place to do some fishing and watch the sun as it sets over Pickney Island across the Intercoastal waterway.

Families love the 2 outdoor pools and the main pool even has a lazy river. An indoor pool and sauna are wonderful to have on a cold or rainy day. The outdoor pools are not heated but the indoor pool is kept at a constant temperature.

Rent Bikes, play on the sports court, grab some Bocce balls and challenge your family to a friendly game. There are so many things to do at the Bluewater Resort it might be difficult to find time to get them all in.
