Where is Fish Haul Creek Park Hilton Head? Fish Haul Creek Park is now the Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park, dedicated to the town of Mitchelville and the preservation of a historic site; Fish Haul Creek is a wonderful hidden gem on Hilton Head Island with beautiful views of the marsh surrounding the creek and is located on the Port Royal Sound. Picnic Tables, public bathrooms and scenic walking paths make this a great find.
Going to the Beach can make for a great day in Hilton Head. If you are looking for some quiet, there is a hidden gem on the island you might consider. On the north side of Hilton Head, you will find Fish Haul Beach with pristine sand and calm waters. This area is typically a more quiet place to visit. Fish Haul Beach is on the Port Royal Sound and does not have waves as the ocean side does.
Located on the South Beach side of the island, off of S Forest Beach Drive, the Alder Lane Beach Access gives visitors to Hilton Head a different location to enjoy the beach. Parking is available across the street on Woodward Lane with limited metered parking spaces. Bikes are a great option and can be locked at the walking path. Public restrooms and outdoor showers are available.

It is a public park with free parking, access to the beach on Port Royal sound, beautiful white sand, restrooms, and outdoor showers.
