While the beach is one of the main reasons for visiting, you will also want to spend ample time at the Westin Hilton Head Pool. As a matter of fact, the Westin Resort has three (3) outdoor pools. One is covered, another is round and a little less deep, and there is also a massive hot tub.
As it is true with most resorts, during the busy season, the pool areas can get a little crowded. Getting your seating early in the day is the best option, unless you are renting your loungers or Cabanas. If paying for your seating, it will be guaranteed and you will not have to spend time looking for that perfect location. Pool Information at the Hilton Head Westin Resort:

Main Pool
The largest of the pools at the Westin Resort in Hilton Head is the main pool area. Closest to the Splash outdoor bar and grill, the Main Pool gets the most traffic and crowding. Seating is good around the pool with a number of lounge chairs but you will want to secure your place early in the day to get the best seating. Lounge chairs are available in the full sun, close to the pool, and in a more shaded area on the elevated levels around the pool.
Round Pool
The Round Pool is a complete circle and is a more shallow pool than the main pool. Great for lounging and taking in the South Carolina rays. Get a tan on the Loungers by the Round Pool.
Canopy Covered Pool
Not really an indoor pool but it is a covered canopy pool that is heated. Maintaining a constant warm temperature all year long, the canopy pool is great no matter what time of day or year.
Large Hot Tub
Soak in the deep warmth of the large hot tub at the Westin Hilton Head. This hot tub holds a lot of guests and provides a wonderful escape for the adults after a long day with the kids. Walking the beach, riding bikes on the 100+ miles of bike paths, golf, tennis, you name it, the hot tub is great after any of these activities.
Cabanas
By the outdoor pools, you will find multiple cabanas for rent. Renting a cabana guarantees you a seat at the pool, shade and so much more.
