Hidden away from the traffic on the William Hilton Parkway on Park Lane, the Palmera Inn and Suites Hilton Head is in a great location, central to many activities in Hilton Head. Sitting a block off of the main Route 278 cuts down on the traffic noise considerably but you are still a quick bike ride, or car ride from Beaches, Legendary Golf, Shopping, and Dining. When you make a reservation at the Hilton Head Palmera Inn and Suites, you will experience the All-Suite Hotel. A pool with a hot tub is available onsite to take in the water and relaxation you need on your next vacation. The nearest public beach would be the Coligny Park Beach entrance about 2.5 miles away. Burkes Beach is also another popular public location but it is a little further up the coast at about 3.5 miles away.
Suites at the Palmera Inn and Suites Hilton Head
All of the Rooms at the Palmera Inn at Hilton Head Island are Suites. Each suite is very spacious and comes with a King Bed, two (2) Queen Beds, or even a California King in one suite option. Suites are outfitted with a full kitchen having a nice counter space, sink, refrigerator, microwave, and cooktop. While you will not find an oven, you can prepare most meals in this simple space.

Pros:
Many of the ratings for the Palmera Inn Hilton Head are very favorable. Guests mention that the rooms look like the pictures that are shown on the site which is not always the case. The free breakfast is a nice start to the day and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Having a kitchen was great and saved some money by eating a few meals in. A day at the pool was relaxing and the seating was plentiful and very comfortable.
Cons:
Still, there are also some reviews that are not the best. Be sure to look at the latest TripAdvisor Reviews as hotels change from time to time on their ratings. Some guests did not care for the firmness of the bed in the room they were in. A couple of other reviews point out that the rooms are not as quiet as they would like. It is recommended by one to not get a room by the stairs.

Fun Things to Do at the Palmera Inn & Suites Hotel
Location is a good reason to consider booking your stay at the Palmera Inn and Suites. Right off of the William Hilton Parkway, in a few minutes, you can be at the beach, shopping or dining at many places on the island. For a fun family outing, Legendary Golf is just up the street and Shelter Cove is one of the most beautiful marinas on the island full of shops and restaurants. In the evening, Shelter Cove comes to life with great music from end to end.
It might not be feasible to walk to the beach from the Palmera Inn but there are some great options within a short bike ride or hopping in your car. Coligny Beach is wonderful and just over 2 miles away. Be sure to walk across the street and check out the great shopping and restaurants at Coligny Plaza while you are there. For a more secluded beach experience, Burkes Beach is a few miles up the coast.Beaches are not within walking distance but you can take a ride to Coligny Park Beach and Burkes beach to get on the sand and see the Atlantic Ocean.
