Harbour Town Bike Ride from the Marriott Heritage Club

When you arrive at the Marriott Heritage Club Resort, gather your belongings and ride across the street to the Harbor Town Marina. Take in the scenery of Sea Pines as you travel on paved bike paths. Make sure to stop by the Salty Dog Cafe at the South Beach Marina for a bite to eat. Located at the toe of Hilton Head Island, you can’t go wrong with breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the Salty Dog Cafe. For even more adventure, rent a kayak and paddle out of the South Beach Marina and explore Broad Creek.

Once you get your bike rental from the Heritage Club in Sea Pines, it is time to explore. Whether you are spending a romantic getaway with your sweetie or on vacation with the family, getting around with a bike is the way to go. The Lawton Stables is a wonderful place to stop and it is just a short bike ride from the Heritage Club. See the horses in the field and they will also come over to the fence to greet you. If you have kids, a small petting zoo is also at the Lawton Stables.

So many places to ride

Heading outside of the Sea Pines plantation is also a real adventure. Coligny Plaza is a fairly long ride but it is well worth it. The nearly 5 miles of trails you will take to get there are scenic and shows you a number of different places on the island. Once at Coligny, check out all of the shops and restaurants. There is plenty to do and great places to dine.

While there is not a beach at the Marriott Heritage Club, take your bike to the Sea Pines Beach Club and get in the white sand. Riding your bikes on the hard-packed sand when the tide is out can be a fun adventure for sure. When you are done, lock your bikes at the Beach Club, and order your favorite beverage and food. Sitting on the large deck is a great way to enjoy the ocean breezes.
