When staying at an Oceanfront Hotel, it is good to understand your Marriott Hilton Head Resort and Spa Standard Rooms and options. There are basically 2 different room types and views. The standard and deluxe rooms both have 350 square feet of space and offer either a King Bed with Sleeper Chair option or two Queen Beds. The main difference comes from the views. The standard rooms only offer a Resort view while the upgraded Deluxe Rooms have a view of the Ocean. Either way, you can walk out of the back of the hotel and right onto the beach but what do you want to wake up to each morning? That is the real question.

Standard Rooms

Standard Guest Rooms at the Marriott Hilton Head Resort offer a 350 square feet living area with with 1 king bed and a sleeper chair or 2 queen beds. A desk with chair gives you space to get some work done or a place to start planning out your week. The dresser offers drawer space and the flat screen TV helps you wind down for the evening. The standard guest rooms come with only a resort view and you will not have views of the ocean. Having a balcony and seeing the beauty of Hilton Head Island from your room is enough for many guests. However, if you want views of the Ocean and the Beach, you will have to step up to the Deluxe Room.

Deluxe Rooms

Deluxe Rooms at the Marriott Hilton Head Resort offer the same 350 square feet of space that you get with the standard room. The main difference with the Deluxe room is the view. Having the same layout with a single King bed with a sleeper chair or the 2 queen beds, you might wonder if it is worth the extra money. It really depends on if you want to step out on your balcony each morning and see and smell the ocean. Watching the people walking on the beach can get you revived for another wonderful day at Hilton Head Island.
