Tucked away, behind a large grove of trees, the Home2 Suites Hilton Head by Hilton is right off of the William Hilton Parkway and close to many activities on Hilton Head Island. Sitting directly off of Route 278 makes it easier to get around the island. Renting a bike is a great way to get around Hilton Head and Ocean Life Bike Rental is located directly in front of the Home2 Suites Hilton Head Hotel. The outdoor pool is small but is a good place to relax and let the kids play in the water for a little while. Multiple public beaches are within a short drive. Burkes Beach is a very popular location and is about 2.8 miles away, and Coligny Beach Park is across from Shopping at the Coligny Plaza about 3.5 miles away.
Suites at the Home2 Suites in Hilton Head
Each of the rooms at the Home2 Suites Hilton Head gives you a lot of space. The Studio Suites are elongated spaces offering a single queen or two (2) queen bed options. A seating area with a sleeper sofa is separated from the bedroom space with a curtain that can be pulled across part of the room. The kitchen area is not a complete kitchen but does have nice counter space, dishwasher, microwave, and larger refrigerator than you will find in a standard hotel room. The bathroom is fairly large as well but only has a single sink in the vanity and a stand-up shower unit. For a little more privacy, there are also some 1-Bedroom Suites that have a Bedroom with a single queen bed in a separate room. The rest of the suite has similar amenities to the Studio space with a single bathroom, kitchen area, and a desk.

Pros:
Guests who have written their reviews on TripAdvisor really like the location of the Home2Suites in Hilton Head. Right off of the William Hilton Parkway, it is close to shopping and dining at Shelter Cove. Beaches are not too far away but at 3 miles, it might be best to hop in your car. Being a pet-friendly location is nice and the free breakfast is a good way to start the day.
Cons:
As with any property, there are also some guests who mention a few problems. Some felt that the breakfast could be expanded a little more. Others had some issues with their room. Fun Things to Do at the Hilton Head Home 2 Suites
Staying at the Hilton Head Home2 Suites puts you in a great location right off of State Route 278 which is the main thoroughfare running through the Island. For shopping and dining, Home2 Suites is close to Shelter Cove where you will find some great little shops, wonderful restaurants and plenty of places to sit and watch the boats come in to the Marina. About 3.5 miles away, you can also visit the Coligny Plaza with additional shopping and dining.
Beaches are not within walking distance but you can take a ride to Coligny Park Beach and Burkes beach to get on the sand and see the Atlantic Ocean.
