The Disney Hilton Head Resort is located in a prime location, next to Shelter Cove, offering great entertainment, dining, and shopping within walking distance. The views of the Shelter Cove Marina are beautiful and the sounds of live music playing in the distance add to the Beach vibe that you are looking for when visiting Hilton Head South Carolina.
Rooms
Enjoy amazing Disney amenities and the comfort of a great night’s sleep at the Hilton Head Disney Resort. The least expensive way to stay at the Disney Hilton Head Island Resort is to Book a Deluxe Studio room. The Deluxe Studio sleeps up to four (4) with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. Even if you are visiting as a couple, the studio might be a great place to book. Want all of the amenities from home? Booking a One-Bedroom or Two Bedroom Villa gets you everything you are looking for with a full Kitchen and stacked washer and dryer unit. The 1-Bedroom Villa sleeps up to five (5) guests and the 2-Bedroom sleeps up to nine (9). A great place for a romantic getaway or a week with the whole family. Disney always does things right.

Pros:
Once you start looking at the TripAdvisor Reviews at Disney's Hilton Head Resort, it will make you want to stay even more. A great number of guests love this Resort's location, as well as the 1940's Fishing Lodge Theme. A great family location for sure with the Beauty of Hilton Head and the care of Disney cast members. The Pools is wonderful with a water slide and it is well worth taking the shuttle to the Beach Pool where you can enjoy great food, games, and miles of pristine beaches. Taking the kayaks out in the marsh area was a highlight of the trip. Be sure to walk over to Shelter Cove and check out the Marina with great dining, shopping, and entertainment.
Cons:
With such a high rating on the Pros side, it is not easy to find as many negative reviews but there are some. A few of the guests visiting felt that the WiFi was not great at certain, busy times during the day and was a bit frustrating. A couple of others mentioned that the Resort could use some updating as well. The Disney Hilton Head Resort does have some food options but some of the visitors would have liked some additional options. Having Shelter Cove next door (within walking distance) does give some additional nice dining options.

Fun Things to Do at Disney Hilton Head Resort
Basking in the sun by the pool with the corkscrew water slide is great fun and the kids will love it. This is just the start to your adventure. Did you know that you can rent a kayak at the Hilton Head Disney Resort and paddle your way around the marshland of the island? Go to the Beach and play in the waves and sand. Take a guided nature walk or a Dolphin Discovery cruise. Rent a bike and ride around the miles of bike trails that surround Hilton Head Island. If you are interested in playing tennis, there are plenty of courts to choose from. The list continues on and on. You will not believe all of the fun outdoor activities awaiting your arrival.
Pets
Pets are not allowed at the Hilton Head Disney Resort. Service animals are welcome.
Resort Fees
There are not any additional Resort Fees at the Disney Hilton Head Resort. Many fun things are included but there are additional fees for renting kayaks, taking guided tours, and Dolphin cruises.
Parking
Self-Parking is complimentary and included with your nightly reservation. The Disney Hilton Head Resort does not have parking for vehicles like RV’s.
Fitness Center
The Bend and Stretch Fitness Room are available for all guests with reservations at the Hilton Head Disney Resort. This room is not huge but it does offer the necessary fitness equipment to get a good daily workout going. The Bend and Stretch Fitness Room is equipped with Elliptical Machines, Treadmills, and free weights and is open 24 hours each day.
Spa Treatments
There is not a Spa at the Hilton Head Resort by Disney.
Dining
Dining is available for Breakfast and Lunch at the Signals Restaurant which is located at the Beach House. The Beach House is not on the main Disney Hilton Head Resort property, but a short 1-mile shuttle will get you there to spend a day at the pool and beach. The Tide me Over Snack bar is located near the Main Family Pool and offers items like Burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Hilton Head Island offers some amazing places to eat for any time of the day. Be sure to walk over to Shelter Cove Marina (right beside the Disney Hilton Head Resort) and check out the shopping, dining and entertainment options.
Business Center
You will not find a Business Center at the Disney Hilton Head Resort but you do have complimentary WiFi throughout the property.
