1, & 2 Bedroom Villas
The Beach & Tennis Club Resort is huge and has 850 Villas in all. What many guests do not realize when they book their experience is that the Villas are Owner maintained. This means that you have to do your homework a little when booking your stay. While many find it a little easier to book through Hotels.com or Expedia, when you read the reviews, many guests feel that you have more control over “What you get” by booking your villa through VRBO .
Whichever way you decide to book your vacation, you have three (3) locations to choose from when staying at the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Club, Ocean View Villas, Admirals Row, and the Tennis Villas. If you want beachfront, there are a few villas at the very front of the Ocean View Villas and Admirals Row that is Oceanfront, others are angled in a way that you might get a view of the ocean. The Tennis Villas are pushed back in the Resort and will not see the beach at all but are very close to the eight (8) Tennis & six (6) Pickleball courts. All Villas come with a full kitchen and have private laundry, so it feels a bit more home-like when you stay in one of the Beach and Tennis Hilton Head Resort Villas.

Pros:
There are some really good reviews of the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort. The resort is located right on the Ocean and some of the Villas have views of the beaches. If this is important, be sure to book the room with the view you are looking for. Many guests loved the activities at the resort and being able to rent bikes was awesome. The pool is huge and having so many Tennis courts was amazing. Pickleball is a lot of fun too. The restaurants were nice and it was fun being able to get something to eat and carry it to the beach.
Cons:
Yes, there are a number of reviews that are less than average. This is when it pays to read through the TripAdvisor reviews and understand how this can be. Each of the Villas is privately owned and doing some leg work upfront, can give you a better chance of having a good experience. Booking through VRBO might be a better option and is mentioned by multiple reviewers since you can ask the owner questions and see updated pictures of the Villa you are interested in.

Fun Things to Do at the Hilton Head Island Beach Tennis Resort
Having the largest outdoor pool on Hilton Head Island, there is a lot of splashing going on at the two (2) outdoor pools and children’s pools. The sun deck provides plenty of lounge chairs for taking in the sun. The beaches are amazing and just a couple of minutes walk from the Villas. Set up your umbrella and stay for the day on the beach. Playing Bocce Ball on the hard-packed section of sand is always a fun event.
Tennis anyone? If you love Tennis, this is the place to be. The Beach and Tennis Resort on Hilton Head has 8 Tennis Courts and 6 Pickleball courts. Teaching sessions are available for both and improving your skills can be fun and rewarding.
Bike rental can be done directly from the resort. There are over 60 miles of bike trails on Hilton Head Island and so many places to explore. A great family outing might be on a kayak tour or a dolphin cruise. There is no shortage of fun on Hilton Head.
