Disney Hilton Head Pool
Is there any better way to start your day than at the Disney Hilton Head Pool? Vacation has begun and a stay at the Disney Hilton Head Island Resort is one of the best family beach spots to be in. On the Disney Hilton Head Resort grounds, the Big Dipper Pool is waiting along with a children’s pool with shallow 1-foot water. Climb the water tower and head down the 85-foot long corkscrew water slide to the splash zone in the main pool. Time to head to the beach and enjoy the Disney Pool on the Atlantic Ocean side at the Beach House pool. The Beach House pool is just a shuttle ride away and offers everything you need to have a family fun day at the beach.
Pool Information at the Hilton Head Disney Resort:
- Pool Hours: Daily 8am – 10pm
- Pools: So much fun at the three (3) outdoor pools, Big Dipper Pool and Small Dipper (Children’s Pool) at the Disney Hilton Head Resort grounds. Shuttle to the Beach House Pool on the Atlantic Ocean in Palmetto Dunes.
- Water Slide: Connected to a large water tower at the Big Dipper Pool is a fun 85-foot water slide.
- Kids Splash Pad: Large Concrete Beach Balls with Bubbling fountains are colorful and fun at the splash area over at the Disney Hilton Head Beach House Pool. A children’s pool is also available at the main resort pool and is a shallow one-foot deep.
- Zero-entry: None of the pools offer zero-entry access
- Hot Tubs: Hot tub is available at the Disney Big Dipper Pool
- Towels: Towels are provided at the both of the main pools at the Hilton Head Disney Resort
- Cabanas: There are NO Cabana Rentals at any of the Disney Hilton Head Pools

Big Dipper Pool
It's hard to pull the kids away from the Big Dipper Pool at the Disney Hilton Head Resort. So much fun is had splashing in the water and events are held daily by the Disney Cast Members. Perfect for a family day by the Pool, check out the main Resort pool and watch your kids have a wonderful time.
Little Dipper Pool
Smaller children need a safe pool space and the Little Dipper Pool is perfect for them. Parents can enjoy relaxing by the child pool and keep a close eye on their kids in the 1-foot shallow water. Away from the Big Dipper Pool, your little ones can have fun and be safe too.
Water Slide
Anticipation starts to build as you climb the steps behind the water tower at the Big Dipper Pool. So much fun when the lifeguard says you can go and you head off through the 85-feet of twisting water slide to the splash zone. As soon as you hit the water, it is time to do it again. Amazing fun for the whole family.
Beach House Pool
About 1-mile from the Disney Hilton Head Resort is the Disney Beach House Pool. Jump on a shuttle and head over to the large pool with a lap pool on one side and a play pool on the other. Views from the Deck of the Atlantic Ocean give you the option of being on the beach or hanging out with the fun around the pool.
Splash Pad
A small splash area is located just beside the Beach House Pool. Fun water jets spray up from the floor and the kids enjoy the fun of being sprayed.
Hot Tubs
Hot Tubs are great to relax in after a fun day of biking around Hilton Head Island. Located at the Big Dipper Pool you will find a wonderful Hot Tub designed to be used by the adults staying at the resort.
Shuttle Service
Since the Beach House Pool is about 1-mile away from the Hilton Head Disney Resort, it might be easiest to hop aboard the complimentary shuttle to get there. The Shuttle service schedule can be picked up from the lobby so you can plan your day.
Beach Access from the Disney Beach House Pool
One of the main reasons to head over to the Disney Beach House pool is the direct beach access. Located about 1-mile from the Disney Hilton Head Resort, you can take the shuttle through Palmetto Dunes to the Beach House pool. Escape to the beach along the long path that leads directly to the Atlantic Ocean. Bring your own beach chairs and umbrella on the shuttle or rent what you need from the Beach House. The pool is a great relaxing place to enjoy after a fun day at the beach.
Dining Options by the Pool
Hunger starts to set in once you have been playing at the pool or on the beach. Disney Hilton Head Resort offers a couple of options. The Tide Me Over offers snacks at a walk-up window just above the Big Dipper Pool. Over at the Disney Beach House pool, make your way over to Signals. Each location has some great options with burgers, sandwiches, wraps and salads.
