Just wait until you tell them how much fun they will have when you head over to the Disney Beach House in Palmetto Dunes in Hilton Head.
The Disney Resort in Hilton Head is built off of Broad Creek next to the Shelter Cove Marina. While you will not see ocean waves or a beach at the Resort, a short complimentary shuttle ride will take you through Palmetto Dunes to the Disney Beach House. Once at the Beach House, everything is set for a full day at the beach, Disney style.
Pool Information at the Disney Beach House:
- Pool Hours: Daily 8am – 10pm
- Pools: A single, large heated pool is available at the Disney Beach House. This large H-Shaped pool has a lap pool on one side and splashing fun on the other. Check out all of the Disney Resort Hilton Head Pools with Big Dipper family pool and 85-foot water slide.
- Water Slide: A water slide is located at the Disney Resort Hilton Head Big Dipper Pool at the main resort.
- Kids Splash Pad: Bubbling water keeps the kids entertained by the pool at the Beach House
- Zero-entry: Zero-entry access is not available at this pool
- Hot Tubs: There is not a hot tub at the Beach House pool but there is one at the Big Dipper Pool
- Towels: Towels are provided at the all of the pools at the Hilton Head Disney Resort
- Cabanas: Cabana Rentals are not available
- Notice: Pool hours can change without notice. Always check the daily schedule at the Hilton Head Disney Front Desk for the updated pool hours and any events that might be running for that day.
- Who: Pools are available for guests staying at the Disney Resort in Hilton Head Island.

Beach House Pool
Get the Beach Toys packed up and get ready for a day at the beach. Disney always does things right and having a separate beach house on 3.5 acres of prime real estate in Palmetto Dunes is a great way to spend your day. Jump in the large H-Shaped Pool where one side is a lap pool, and the other is for swimming fun. Views of the Atlantic Ocean make this a spectacular spot to spend time with your family.
Splash Pad
Located to the side of the Beach House Pool is a small splash area. Bubbling fountains spray continuously throughout the day and make for a fun place where the little ones can stay cool.
Beach Time
Walking from the Deck of the Beach House on a path will take you to the wide sand on the Atlantic shores. Bring your own beach chairs and umbrella or rent them from the Beach House. There is so much fun to be had walking the miles of shoreline, building sandcastles, or just relaxing and taking time building memories with your family. The Disney Beach House is a great way to spend quality time with the ones you love.
Shuttle Service
Shuttle Service is provided at the front of the Disney Resort in Hilton Head to take you to the Disney Beach House. Since the Beach House is about a mile away from the main resort, the shuttle makes it easy to get there.
Dining Options by the Pool
Playing in the water and on the beach makes you hungry. No need to pack your lunch at the Disney Resort, just head up to the Beach House and order from a great beach menu at Signals. Great options are available with items like burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and salads.
