The beaches are amazing at Hilton Head Island but taking time to see some of the Parks is a great experience. Jarvis Creek Park Hilton Head is a public park with an 11-acre lake where you can fish (catch & release only), walk a 1-mile fitness trail, and kids can play on a nice playground. Parking is free, and there are public restrooms.
