• Family Needs: Traveling with your kids? Getting a rental with fun features like bunk beds, game rooms, or enclosed outdoor spaces cna be a huge addition to your vacation rental. The place you choose is not only exciting to you but your kids get more excited when they see fun items in the home just for them.

When looking at vacation rentals, this can take some extra time and diligence on your part. We order our bikes early and have them waiting at our rental before we get there. Once we are on the island, we rarely go anywhere without our bikes. Bike riding is a great way to get excercise, see things from a more relaxed perspective and build great memories.

Some of the places you book might have very flexible check-in options, while others may require in-person meetings to exchange keys. Having this knowledge up front help you and the rental owner have a more smooth arrival and departure process. Many of the rentals we have stayed at have a the check-out process posted with everything expected when you leave. It is very nice to know you completed all of the necessary tasks before you close the door for the last time.
