Beach House Resort Hilton Head
Coligny is one of the most popular places to visit in Hilton Head, and staying at the Beach House Resort Hilton Head puts you in the middle of all the action. Hilton Head Coligny Beach Park occupies the space beside the Beach House Resort off of S Forest Beach Drive in Hilton Head. This location is the only Hotel on the island with a bar on the sand. The large outdoor pool is a great place to hang out with family or friends, and the small children’s pool is shallow and set up to be a safer place for the smaller kids. A private section of the beach is ready for you to spend a day on the sand, watching the waves as they lap up on the shore. This property used to be the Holiday Inn Resort Beach House.
Standard Rooms and Suites
A stay at the Beach House Resort Hilton Head offers standard rooms and suite accommodations. When you stay in a standard room, expect to have the amenities you would normally find in a hotel stay. The rooms will either have a King Bed or Two (2) Queens with a walk-in shower in the bathroom. The glass doors open, but there is no balcony to the outdoor beauty of Hilton Head Island. If you are lucky enough to book one of the Ocean View rooms, you can open your sliding glass door to the sound of the surf and watch people as they walk along Coligny Beach.
A little more space and different configurations are available in the different suite layouts. The junior suites have more space than a standard room and have better bedding configurations. Each junior suite has one or two beds and a trundle bed with additional seating. If you are bringing your kids along, the Family Junior suite has a separate room with a king bed on one side of the partition and bunk beds on the other. While not having complete privacy, it feels more private with the separation.

Pros:
The reviews at the Beach House Resort Hilton Head can be a little mixed so be sure to read the most up-to-date guest reviews from the TripAdvisor link below. Most guests really liked the location of the Beach House Resort. Located beside Coligny Beach Park and Coligny Plaza (just across the roundabout), there are plenty of things to do. Oceanfront is always a plus, and the restaurant is good and serves Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. The pool is not huge, but it is nice to relax at, and the kid's small pool is okay for the little ones.
Cons:
Some of the guests had a difficult time with the parking situation and because of the location, the traffic is quite heavy around Coligny on the weekends. It is also mentioned that some of the rooms could really use some updating and attention paid to details. Take some time to read through other TripAdvisor Reviews when booking. Fun Things to Do at the Beach House Resort Hilton Head
Every day on the beach is a fun day! The Beach House Resort is oceanfront and has a large outdoor pool with a children’s pool. The beach is steps away, providing fun in the sand and ocean daily. The Tiki Bar is the only “on the sand bar” on the island. Located just past the Tiki bar are fun outdoor games like cornhole and sand volleyball.
Of course, if you venture away from the Beach House Hotel, there is no limit to the fun you can have around Hilton Head. Rent some bikes and hit the 100+ miles of biking trails, and see for yourself how amazing this island is. Book an adventure and go kayaking, rent a Waverunner, and head off on a dolphin tour adventure. There are plenty of fun things to do around Hilton Head Island.
