Some of our favorites include Shelter Cove Community Park, which has a huge playground for the kids and beautiful views of Broad Creek, and Chaplin Community Park, which has a large open field perfect for flying a kite or playing catch. Of course, no visit to Hilton Head would be complete without a stop at Coligny Beach Park, where you can sunbathe, play on the sand or in the ocean, or take in incredible views.

Bristol Sports Arena is a vibrant sports hub with free parking off Arrow Road. It features a skate park, skate hockey, and basketball courts. Families enjoy clean restrooms and green spaces. Thanks to the Bristol Family's donation, the roller hockey rink is a community favorite.

Fish Haul Beach Park Hilton Head is a quiet and tranquil beach located at the north end of Hilton Head Island. It is a public park with free parking, access to the beach on Port Royal sound, beautiful white sand, restrooms, and outdoor showers. Typically, Fish Haul Beach is not very crowded and you can find a spot where you can have some time to yourself. Walking along the beach is great fun as you hunt for shells.

Located at the mid-island location on Hilton Head, the Folly Field Beach Park is a favorite for guests visiting the island. Once on the William Hilton Parkway, look for Folly Field Drive on your left to get you to this park, Metered parking is available and is not very expensive for your hourly rental. A raised wooded boardwalk is provided to get you across the primary dunes and onto the sand. Public restroom facilities make it convenient to enjoy a long day on the beach.

Green Shell Park Hilton Head is located off Squire Pope Road. This public park has free parking, restrooms, and grills with a picnic pavilion. A wooden path goes to an observation deck that overlooks Skull Creek and has views of Pickney Island. A large playground is fun for the kids and this is normally a great spot to have some down time.

Situated in a mid-island location on Hilton Head, the Islanders Beach Park is designed for owners on the island to have a more private beach spot. Turn off of the William Hilton Parkway and onto Folly Field Drive to get you to this park, Since this park is more for annual parking pass holders, you will only find a few metered parking spaces available. Plenty of bike rack spaces make this a great place to ride your bike. Kids will love playing at the playground, and a picnic pavilion is covered with tables and grills. The raised boardwalk takes you safely above the primary dunes to the beach. Public restrooms are a necessary convenience to spend as much time as you want on the beach.

The beaches are amazing at Hilton Head Island but taking time to see some of the Parks is a great experience. Jarvis Creek Park Hilton Head is a public park with an 11-acre lake where you can fish (catch & release only), walk a 1-mile fitness trail, and kids can play on a nice playground. Parking is free and there are public restrooms.

Lowcountry Celebration Park Hilton Head offers free parking off of Nassau St and is close to the Coligny Beach Park and Plaza. The playground is huge with a large ship sectioned off into multiple kids play areas with slide, ropes, and plenty of other areas to climb around.
