Does the Westin Hilton Head Pet Policy allow Pets?
Yes, Wandering the beaches of Hilton Head Island, there is nothing better than having your dog with you. While vacationing on the island, it’s great to remember that your four-legged family members are welcome here, too. Westin Hilton Head pet policy has been introduced to help guests and their pets enjoy a stress-free vacation together. In addition, your pet will have a place to exercise in the onsite dog park.
Dogs will also enjoy walking along the beach with you at the end of your day’s fun in the sun. Unfortunately, during the peak season, dogs are not allowed on the beaches at the busier times of the day. Be sure to check with the Westin Front Desk for the latest information on when and where you can have your dog with you.

Pet Policy Restrictions at the Westin Oceanfront Resort in Hilton Head
It sure is fun to bring your dog with you. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
Pet Checklist
All Pets must:
- be in good health
- dog only
- 1 Dog is allowed, up to 40 lbs
- Not Allowed: Cats, extreme or wild animals (Nothing but Dogs)
In order to bring your pet:
- An additional charge is added for your pet
- Only Pet-Friendly rooms are options for pet owners
- Your Dog must not be left in room alone at any time
- Dogs are not allowed on the beaches anywhere in Hilton Head from 10 am – 5 pm between Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend. This is a Hilton Head regulation, not Westin.
- Important: Pet requirement can change at any time. You should always check with the front desk at the Westin Oceanfront Resort when booking to see if any changes have been made to any of these policies.
Service Animals
Service Animals are always welcome at the Westin Hilton Head. Service Animals are exempt from the Pet Policy.
